Fathers

Happy fathers day to all fathers out there. I made this m&m message for jim. We are just hanging at the house today since I am painfully sick. Luckily I made most of the fathers day dinner prep yesterday so I can justthrow it togther and bake it! The kids painted bird houses for jim and made cards. I keep thinking of more fun things I could have done for him had I thought of them a week ago. Oh well. Next year! Also a huge happy fathers day to my own pops. You are the best! You have always been there for me and I couldn't have asked for a better father. Love you!

Chores

We have made chore charts in our house. Today was day one. So far so good. They are easy chores, things like make bed, clean bedroom, pick up toys, put away silverware, wipe down table and sweep floors.  Here's a picture of samantha doing her chore. She loves having the silverware chore. The plan is to give them an allowance at the end of the week if they do all their chores. Maybe 50 cents or something. We haven't decided. Here's hopeing we can keep at it!
