Maid service needed

I got tested for Allergies yesterday and let me tell you...it sucked. I got 53 needle pricks in my arms AND THEN because 15 of those came up positive i had to actually get 15 shots in my upper arm with more stuff to see how i reacted to those! Sheesh! It hurt. End result: Allergic to Willow,Ash,Birch and Mulberry Trees; Kentucky blue Grass (wish she said is the most prominant grass in michigan); 2 kinds of mold and seriously allergic to Dust. Man on man. Now all i have to do is work on how clean i keep my house. Get rid of any clutter that can accumulate dust, wrap my mattress in plastic then cover the zipper of that plastic warp with duct tape, buy a huge air purifyer, buy hypoallergenic pillowcases, buy different window coverings, wash my blankets and sheets every couple days in really hot water....they gave me this list..it goes on and on and on...i'll stop though. What the heck kind of list is that! Defiantly not one for a woman with 3 kids under 5.

Wonderful Weather

The kids have been loving the weather the last couple days. It's been nice for them to be able to get outside and run around. They got excited to set up the chairs and to get out the kiddie camping chairs.

Kindergarten

Today was Kindergarten sign up day!! Paige was very excited. She got to see a firetruck and a bus (even though she won't be riding one).  It wasn't all that eventful, we signed up for an assesment time in June.  It was fun to see her though and how excited she was.

Here is a picture of me when i was about 5. Cute huh!?! Just kidding. I have a picture of Paige from today but it's taking a while top upload, so i'll add it in a little bit.

The book of Simon

So my brother wrote a book. For those of you on my side of the family, you can skip this post. Everyone else needs to know that my brother Sean wrote a book.  I have not read it yet, but my sister Katherine has (by the way she did the cover art) here is what she had to say: (p.s: buy it. you know you want to)

Familial Promotion

When I was in high school, I did some pretty ridiculous art projects. Some of them I thought were pretty awesome at the time, others I look back on and laugh at how bad they were (are). Most of them I set aside for good, never planning on changing or improving them.

My brother, Sean, is a little different than I. In 10th grade, he started to write a story and ended up with a couple of chapters. He set it aside for a long time, finally picking it up again in recent years. The result of his cumulative efforts (those from high school and all of the work he did more recently) is a novel. A very good novel, called The Book of Simon.

Ok, so admittedly this isn't just any old blog post. It may possibly be a post to promote my brother's book, which became available for sale last Friday at Amazon.com!! How cool is that?!! Imagine taking something that you started working on ~15 years ago, working and reworking it, getting advice from family and friends, haggling with the people through whom you are selling your product, then finally seeing that product for sale to the general public. What an amazing thing that would be!

The book that my brother wrote is about a man named Simon (believe it or not...) and an interesting turn of events that lead him down a path completely different from the one he'd been heading down. It's sci-fi/fantasy, but don't worry, enemies of Twilight, it's very accessible and geared toward adults! (Plus no whiny teenagers or love-sick vampires...not that I didn't like Twilight.) The characters are very relatable and fun to follow, there's humor interlaced into the plot, and the story has lots of fun twists and turns that keep you pulled in (I read it in two days!).

I realize that I might seem a bit biased, and maybe I am a little, but I know a good plot when I read one! (I also happen to have done the cover art, so I'm pretty excited about that myself.) I highly recommend this book, my faithful readers! You can find it at Amazon.com if you search under the name Sean Cameron, or if you click here (or on the not-so-subliminal link above). You may even see a review there from yours, truly...
Enjoy, and let us know what you think!

invites

I'm email inviting everyone now because I had a thing installed on my blog for a while telling where people were located who read my blog. There were some unknown weird ones from like New Jersey and north dakota and what not that the people wouldn't identify themselves. That just weirds me out with my kids names and pictures on here. Sorry it might be a little bit inconveinent, but i hope it keeps pedophiles away.

Easter

The kids had a lot of fun on Easter. We went to church with Grandma and Pappa and then to Aunt Mary and Uncle Bills for dinner, easter egg hunt and Peep Diarama Contest.

Easter morning, still a little out of it. My mom used to hide
the baskets so I do that too. They had a lot of fun finding them

Full House

Paige got her hair cut last night for the first time. Jim's sisters Danielle and Jamie; brother Bob and sister-in-law Martha and their little boy Jace came over for a visit. Jamie is going to school at the Douglas J. Aveda (sp?) Institute in Ann Arbor. She cut Bob, Martha, Jace and Paige's hair. She did a great job too. Paige has always had really curly hair on 98% of her head, with 3 long, straight pieces. Jamie evened it up and took 3 inches off. See how cute it looks:

Imaginations and sharks

The first picture is of the kids watching Finding Nemo. I love this picture becasue i took it at the perfect time. (Paige looked at the last second for the pic)
This one was taken a few days ago . They were playing "Hotel with the waterpark in it " game (it's a new game)Paige and Ethan would walk over to their bedroom door(aka the elevator), pretend to push buttons on the wall, turn around and rise up on the tippy toes and then go "ding,we're here" and then walk into their bedroom. They came a few minutes later with their bathing suits on. Then they went downstairs, dumped all the toys out of these big buckets we have a pretended they were swimming pools (" for kids" paige said).
