7 years ago, right now, i was in labor. Horrible, painful, loudly moaning labor. The woman in the room next to me was a screamer. Luckily I didn't go there. I was walking the halls, throwing up in bed pans in the halls (thanks mom, dad and Jim for bearing with me on that!) :) I was moaning and walking and walking and moaning. I was induced at 3:00 p.m on Sept 30th and had Paige at 4:12 a.m. She is such a joy. She has an attitude and spunk and is very loving and thoughtful. She loves her little brother and sister and is very helpful with them. Here are some of my favorite pictures of her form years ago.

Phew, lots in this post.

It's been awhile, I apologize. My phone stopped working with Blogger and I rarely get to get on the computer.
This post is going to be mostly pictures. That's more fun anyway. Most of it is Ludington as well. (ignore the time stamp in the corner of the pictures, my camera is dumb.)

This is a picture Paige took of Samantha and me. She posed us with a whole bunch of the kids stuffed animals.

The sky over Loch Aren (or maybe it's spelled Erin, I have no idea). My brother-in-law lives on the lake and took us out on the 4th of July and we watched for fireworks. The sky was beautiful.

The back of Mikey's (cousin-in-law)head, Ethan and Paige watching for fireworks.

Ethan loves to jump off the back of the boat

We took the kids to Zehnders up in Frankenmuth. It was sssoooo much fun. Huge slides and waterpark and we got this awesome room. 2 queen beds, 2 tv's. The space over by where Jim is in the picture is a living room with pull out couch and chairs and the tv over the FIREPLACE! It was the middle of july, but you better believe I turned it on and then turned the air up a bit (only for 10 minutes, I just wanted to pretend for a minute)

Here is the start of Ludington:
Samantha climbing the side of the Lighthouse.

My sisters took us on our first hike around the state park. Most fun ever! This is the sitting tree that my sisters love. The kids loved it too, can ya tell? They were so happy to have a snack. :)

My sisters Abeth and Kafern, (or so Samantha calls them) with the kids on a bridge on our hike.

The 3 kids with my Nephew James who is almost 13! Yikes....I remember the day he was born.. My brother Sean and sister Katherine at the lighthouse.

They have this new cool hands on museum for kids and my 3 LOVED it. They had a corn pickers area and a small S.S. Badger to play on, a play garden, bank, House of Flavors, bubble blowing station, hair salon, grovery store and more. Lot's of fun. Paige loved pretending to do Sam's hair.

The Marina playground is one of our favorite place's to be. The kids can play for hours, and I can sit for hours and watch to lake and marina and just enjoy.
The Lighthouse! We got to go up again this year..Well, Samantha is too little, but Grandma stayed down with her and bought her a postcard that she LOVES, so all is well. Ethan, Paige, Pappa and I went up and it was a blast. Always a little scary going up the VERY steep steps, but so worth it. At the Point Sauble Lighthouse you can go outside at the top, that is spectacular.

Paige walking out to the lighthouse. That walk out there never get's old.

While playing at the Marina in the morning we saw the S.S. Badger leaving. So fun. Later that night we went out to the Lighthouse and watched it go out again, but there it goes RIGHT by you.

Last, but not least, Uncle Sean burried all the kids in the sand. James, Paige, Samantha and Ethan.

It's been a very fun summer. Once I get more pictures uploaded I will post them.

Paige and Ethan start school in a few days. Daddy told them they could sleep downstairs tonight and if they wanted, they can stay up ALL night. I guess they'll be out no later than midnight. Ha! They were SO excited though. They ran around the house yelling "WE GET TO STAY UP ALL NIGHT LONG!!! WOOHOO!!" Adorable. Of course, mommy has to sleep downstairs too since they are "a little teeny bit"scared to be down there alone. :)
I will be sad to have them gone all day long but they are going to have so much fun, and I am going to try and take up running, so I'm hoping that goes well. I tell you that so that I have to be accountable to someone with my running. :) If I keep it to myself I can think, "well, it's not like anyone knows, just me, myself and I and none of us really mind sitting at home eating ding dongs instead of running." Wish me luck!
I will post some pictures soon of our back to school festivities. They start tomorrow with baking back to school cookies for our church primary classes, going to see Smurfs and Grandma Connie coming over for dinner. Sunday is church and some fun cookie monster cupcakes (you'll love them, just wait) and a craft project. Then monday is a day full of yummy foods, a big back to school feast, fun activities and then to be early. Wait and see!
