Bathtime

Last night i was trying to get Paige and Ethan's teeth brushed. They were refusing because Samantha was in the bathtub and they wanted to take a bath. They had already taken one that morning so i kept telling them no. I went into Paige's room to get her some Pj's, when i walked into the bathroom, there is Paige laying in the tub. I reprimanded her and got her out. The whole "you need to listen to me when i tell you no. You can't just do whatever you want." As I'm walking to the living room with her, telling her all this i see this naked blur run behind me and into the bathroom. I realize it's Ethan and chase after him, but his little body is to fast and he got in the tub before i could stop him. I had to walk right back out because i was laughing so hard. I composed myself and went in and got him out. What little spitfires.

I need help

I need help. People have been saying that we smell.our clothes smell. This has been happening for a while now and I have tried everything. And i mean everything. I've changed laundry detergents 5 times. Tide, All, Cheer, dollar store brand and now Gain. I've tried different kinds of dryer sheets, i've actually cleaned my washer and dryer. I empyt my dryer shoot everytime i do laundry. I've tried Potpourri in the closets and drawers. I've tried candles, Glade plugin's and airwick plug ins in every room. I've even tried these things that you pull open and they slowly dwindle down to nothing and last about a month. Those are currently in every closet and bedroom...All different kinds and smells. I've tried scrubbing the floors and walls and using Febreeze all over the house. I've used carpet cleaners, carpet deoderizers, floor cleaners, lysol sprays, perfumes. We all bathe every day. We have good hygeine. WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?! I need ideas. I'm at a loss. I'm tired of apparently smelling bad, busting by butt every day to keep us from smelling "bad" or "weird" and then being told we still smell. I'm tired of crying about it. It kills me to think that my kids might get teased because of said smell. I'm tired of staying up till 1 or 2 in the morning after everyone is asleep so that i can clean and scrub floor and what not so that we don't smell. I'm just tired. Please help. Any idea is a good one. I think I'm getting an ulcer.

After i dropped Paiges of at school this morning Ethan proceeded to tell me that he wanted to go to school. He was pretty mad when i told him he couldn't. He said he was smart too. How cute. I sent hin some box tops for education and Cambell soup labels with her and Ethan was appaled (sp?) He thought i was sending trash in with her. He could not understand why i would do this. He's becoming very interested in what i'm doing these days. He ask's about every little thing i do. Fun kid. (by the way, anyone wanting to save there labels and box tops give them to me)

Paige had her third day today and is opening up a little but more about what she does during the day. She actually told us a little bit about the picture she drew and what she like in her lunch. This is a lot for her so far in her school career.

Samantha has been cute, still. No suprise. We played outside a bit today and she decided to turn on the sprinkler without me knowing. She's been learning a lot on her own.

1st day

Paige started school this morning. Cry cry cry. I didn't actually cry.I held it together.It was fun though. When we were at the open house last week Jim joked as we walked past the Principles office that Paige does NOT want to go there. So this morning when I walked her into school and we passes the Principles office she said really loud, "I do NOT want to go there!" People around us laughed. It was cute. She seemed like she was having fun when I left so she'll be alright. She woke up at 5 this morning becasue she was nervous, She said her stomach hurt. Yikes. I can't wait till 3:30.

My baby is starting school

Paige is starting school on Tuesday. Crazy. Makes me really sad. She's going to be in the Young 5's program and is very excited. We took her to her Open house last night. Alecia was nice enough to watch Sammy and E-man (He asked me to call him this this morning,he thinks it's cool because it sounds like Heman, isn't that funny..what a boosh) Anywho..I digress. We took her to meet her teacher and see her classroom. Here are a couple of my observations:
1. Her teacher : Mrs. Vandam is really nice. I think she'll be a great teacher. She also looks like alot like Jim's ex Kate. Yikes. Jim and I had many a laugh and joke about it though.
2. Her classroom is way cool with computers and puppet shows, reading areas, pictures of E.T, little sinks, little round tables, Etc. Cute
3. There are some kids in her class with awesome names: My favorite (if i were to have another boy i was wanting to name him this:) Rourke , Sydney, Braedan, Cade. Cute names huh?
4. She get's her very own locker. In the hallway with her name on it. It's so cute! She loves it.
5. Her Gym teacher and Librarian seem like very cool people. They were both very enthusiastic and got down to her level and welcomed her to there rooms.

All in all, i think she'll be alright. I am very nervous about the first day. I'm really hopeing it's harder for me than for her, but since she cried the other day saying she didn't want to be gone all day at school, we'll see. Pray for her that she does alright.
